In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Let sit in the refrigerator to let flavors marry.

Bring 3 quarts water, 1/4 cup of salt, and 2 bay leaves to a boil. Add cleaned shrimp and cook for 2 minutes or until shrimp turn opaque.

Make an ice bath in a large bowl. Use equal parts ice and water. Add cooked shrimp to the ice bath for 30 seconds.  Remove and pat dry before serving.

Serve cold shrimp with a side of homemade cocktail sauce and fresh lemon wedges for some extra tanginess.
