Remove excess skin and fat from each piece of chicken.

Mix flour and spices to make a coating for the chicken. Roll chicken pieces in the dredge.

Brown

Brown the chicken in a hot pan. Then remove from pan and set aside.

Sauce

Deglaze the pan with butter, then add garlic, sage, lemon juice, and water to the pan to make the braising liquid.

Put the browned chicken thighs pack into the pan with sauce. Place lemon slices around chicken.  Cover and put pan in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.
