Blend butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together until the butter is creamy and well integrated.

Add two room temperature eggs. Mix until the batter is light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, flax seed, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Use a fork to combine.
Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet. Mix on low speed.
Add oatmeal, chopped dried fruit, and chopped nuts to the batter. Mix by hand with a wooden spoon.
Use a 1 ounce scoop to form cookies and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 15-18 m inutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven. Let the cookies cool on the cookie sheet for five minutes. Then remove and let them continue to cool on a cooling rack.
