Before turning on a pan. Measure all of your ingredients and mince the garlic and parsley.
Clean Shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel.
On low heat, melt butter and combine with olive oil. When butter starts to brown, add the garlic.
Then add lemon juice and white wine and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the cleaned shrimp to the scampi sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Turn the shrimp to get the cooked through quickly. They should be opaque and pink.
Turn off the heat. Then add a sprinkle of red chili flakes if you like some heat and some parsley for color.
Serve with a crust piece of French bread or over pasta.
