Eat Guacamole on Everything!
I love a good guacamole, and this one is amazing. I made it four times this week. I was “testing” it to make sure I had it just right before sharing it with you. I tried it with chips. Then I made taco salads. Next, I dipped vegetables in it. Finally, I started eating it with a spoon to avoid the carbs from the chips. I sent the last of it to the neighbors to save myself. It is totally irresistible!

Preparing The Best Guacamole Recipe
This Guacamole Recipe is so fast and easy to prepare. The most important thing to remember is to wash all of your produce thoroughly. The avocados, lemons, and limes especially. Sometimes, we think we don’t need to wash those items because we use the insides of them. However, when we cut them open the knife transfers any bacterial from the outside to the inside as it goes through the fruit.
Once everything is washed, simply cut open the avocados and remove the pits. Scoop out the insides and place them in a bowl.
Finely dice the onion and cilantro. This should be a very fine dice, because you do not want to get a big bite of either of these. You really want everything small and evenly distributed throughout the Guacamole.
Clean the Serrano pepper by removing the top and slicing in half. Use a spoon to scrape out the seeds and ribs. Then dice finely and add to the bowl.
Add the Lemon Juice, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Use a fork to smash and mix everything together. You should have a chunky rustic texture when you are done.

The ingredients are all diced, seasoned, and ready to smash.
Important Tip!!
Make sure your avocado is ripe. Hard avocados will not smash up nicely, and will not have a creamy texture. To check if an avocado is ripe gently press your thumb into the skin. It should be soft enough that your thumb can make an indention.
